Setup Email Account for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
Note: There is two ways to setup mail on Apple Devices; we are choosing the advanced method.

Step 1 Tap Settings

Step 2 You can configure your account by tapping Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account


Step 3 Choose, Other > Add mail Account

Step 4 Enter your account information, you can get this by calling ContACT on (02)6175 1111 then tap next

Step 5 Choose POP then scroll down (or tap next) to 'Incoming Mail Server', enter ' mail.(domain name).com.au' and your email address in 'User Name' and your password for this account, then scroll down (or tap next)to outgoing mail server, enter 'mail.(domain name).com.au' and your email address in 'User Name' and your password, tap save

Step 6 Tap continue to both of these prompt's, this occurs due to 'SSL' been turned on this can be turned off in the Advanced button

Step 7 Choose your newly setup account e.g. (your@fullemailaddress.com) > then 'Advanced' turn the SSL selector to the 'OFF' position.
Note: Whilst you are at this level, (Telstra Users) Telstra blocks anyone outside of Bigpond Internet on port 25, tap SMTP>Primary Server e.g. 'mail.(domain name).com.au' and change the' Server Port' to 26 this should fix this issue.

Step 8 You can test your account now to check that the settings are correct.
Step 9 Once your test mail comes into your inbox you have sucessfully setup your Apple Device. You can configure additional accounts by tapping Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account
Check SMTP settings
Step 1 Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Under Accounts, tap the account from which you’re trying to send mail.
Step 2 Under Outgoing Mail Server, tap SMTP.
Step 3 Tap the SMTP server for your email account and verify the settings are correct.
Step 4 If you have multiple email accounts on iPad, try using an SMTP server from another account. Tap the SMTP account and ‘Select On’ on the On/Off slider.
Additional Information Restart iPhone/ iPad
To restart iPhone/iPad, first turn iPhone/iPad off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone/iPad will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone/iPad on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
