Step 1

Click start in the right hand pane. Then find the Mail App icon and click or tap on the icon.

Note you need a microsoft account first before proceeding to the actual setup, this is the same account that would have been used in the installation/setup process when you first started using Windows 8, in that case it should be already setup

Step 2

Once the Microsoft account is setup (requires usename and password) go to the right hand upper pane and select Settings then Accounts and select Add an account

Select Other Below is what will appear

Step 3

Once the fields are completed click connect. Your email account will be setup now.
