You will need to know your email account settings before you begin,
these are email address and incoming and outgoing server names, this is based on email accounts already setup.

Step 1 Open Windows Vista Mail, click on 'Add a New Account'

Step 2 Fill in the details, including your email address (this is also your user name) and password, then click next

Step 3 Now you will need to fill out the Incoming and Outgoing servers, you will also have to enable 'Authentication' on the outgoing server and change the port to '26'

Once complete click 'Next'

Step 5 You will be presented with a window (as below) click 'finish', if you wish to set this account as a default you should check the Tick box below before clicking 'finish'

You have completed the 'WindowsVista Mail Setup'
